Darrell’s wish list, Christmas is coming so here are some ideas…
Bass Pro has a really cool little travel fishing rod & reel setup called the
Daiwa® MiniSpin Ultralight Travel System Rod and Reel, item number, # 38-930-900-00(click the pic at the left and add the item number to the search form). Can come in handy on short trips, hiking, or leave it in the truck for the new found pond or stream. What if your out four wheeling and run into a pond or stream out in the woods? You are ready to go fishing.
Paynes Forks Light-Duty Forks — 1200-Lb. Capacity, Model# PF1200
Having a front loader bucket on a tractor is really handy but I find times where I need extra carrying capacity, like hauling logs for fire wood to be cut, picking up brush and branches for the bon fire, put a skid on the forks for work bench in the field and carry stuff that won’t fit in the bucket.
There is an option to the forks but a little more expensive.
Paynes Forks Debris Fork — 1500-Lb. Capacity, Model# PFDF52
Not a bad idea if you have a lot of tops to move or clearing the property.
ProCom Vent-Free Natural Gas 30,000 BTU Garage Heater, Model# MN300HGA
The small barn is insulated and has a heater but sometimes goes on the fritz and doesn’t work if the power goes out. We keep the liquids, batteries and stuff we don’t want frozen solid in the b
arn during the winter. Thru some research on deciding which type of vent less heater I choose the blue flame over the radiant. Why? The blue flame actually moves the air in the room by pulling the cooler air off the floor to heat, kind of making a circulation in the room.
The radiant simply puts heat out in front of it so what ever is to the sides really doesn’t heat up as much. It would be used for a smaller room with a bunch of objects in front of the heater to be warmed up. This way the objects will hold the heat. There really isn’t that much of a circulation happening other than heat rises. That my 2 cents on the on the heater’s and my pick for the blue flame type heater.
