As a cautionary thought, killing the weeds create will nutrients that end up back in the pond water which will create more muck and re occurring weed growth that may surface the same season and if not will the following year. Once a reactionary method has taken place look towards a Proactive approach by installing the proper sized aeration system, beneficial bacteria’s, Muck Away to reduce the mucky bottom even our pond dye to shade out the sunlight.
