It is recommended to do the maintenance kit on the linear compressors every 6 months to a year, to keep them up and running at peak performance. If the diaphragms should tear and the compressor continues to run in that condition the compressor could be damaged beyond repair. Rocking Piston compressors should be rebuilt 1 year to 18 months to ensure air flow.
