WhatPond made some changes over the winter, mainly the website new looks and the shopping cart is new. This has been almost a 4 month project building the shopping cart out and removing the old shopping cart. I am still working on removing and upgrading products to the new cart but also sure there are still some pages or post I may have missed but it would just be an error code saying we need to upgrade the old plugin. If you should find a page that looks funny please let me know so I can get it fixed or removed.
Other fixes that need finished up are resizing pictures so they ‘re not stretched or goofy looking.
Another big part of the upgrade was increasing the security of the website so you are safe surfing at What Pond. Have you noticed the symbols in the address bar lately? Just to the left of the http. Usually when you are purchasing, from any site it should be https but also the little lock should be green letting you know it is secure to type in your information. Security for checkout pages are not the only thing that needs protected, it is any time you type anything on a webpage even logging into an account.
Lastly we will be adding a function to the shopping cart so you will earn points to use at a later date for a discount on that later purchase. Don’t worry if you already purchased this year I would manually add the point for your purchase so you don’t miss out. You’ll see the notice in the top bar once things are all setup for the point system and all the details.
