Internal Air Filters
Gast rotary vane compressors have two internal air filters. Air filter elements are included in repair kits or can be purchased separately. Black plug that holds filter does not come in repair kit. All use the same plugs and filters.

Generally when doing the rebuild, the black plugs unscrew rather easy. Bu there is always that time when some one may have screwed it on too tight and they break off. If they don’t then you should be goo to go the the regular rebuilt kit.
