    Darrell, without your help this pond would never have been built. your professionalism and knowledge are second to none. I have eight pounds of bullheads and 60 bluegill in the pond already, this fall I will add the bass. I cant thank you enough. frank

    Thank you Frank. Please do not add fish in the pond until spring, The fatheads would be fine but new fish will need time to put some weight on for the long inter months when they slow down and don’t eat very much they use their body weight to help survive and eat very little. I’m afraid you would have a lot of dead fish by spring. Wait until the water is up to around 60 this coming spring and add the fish then. This way they have a ll summer to grow and get acclimated to the pond before having to endure the harsh winter months.
